Spotted Gum Deck Builder

This project completely transformed an old brick garage into a modern pool room and outdoor entertaining space. The existing structure was reinforced and fitted with a new timber framework before being reclad in smooth, weatherboard-style fibre cement cladding, giving the building a fresh, contemporary appearance while retaining the strength of the original brick shell. A premium Spotted Gum timber deck was constructed by our VicBuilt’s Ashwood deck builder to connect the pool room with the surrounding outdoor area, creating a warm and inviting space for entertaining. To complete the project, a custom timber batten privacy screen was installed to enclose an outdoor shower, adding both functionality and a striking architectural feature. The result is a complete backyard transformation that combines quality craftsmanship, practical design, and timeless finishes.
