How do I maintain my deck?

Accepted Answer

Timber decks should be cleaned regularly and re-oiled every 12–24 months, depending on the timber and exposure to the weather. Composite decking requires much less maintenance and usually only needs occasional washing with water and a mild detergent. We'll provide maintenance advice specific to the materials used on your project.

Can you build over concrete or an existing patio?

Yes. In many cases we can build a deck over an existing concrete slab or patio, provided it's suitable. We'll assess the site and recommend the best construction method.

Do you remove old decks?

Yes. If you're replacing an existing deck, we can safely remove and dispose of the old structure before constructing your new one.

Who will actually build my deck?

Unlike many larger companies, you'll deal directly with Jonothan throughout the project. The person who provides your quote is the same qualified carpenter who builds your deck. I have a great network I have built over the years so larger jobs that require more labour is not a problem.
