This custom-built Merbau timber deck in our Clayton Merbau decking project was designed to create a seamless connection between the alfresco area and the backyard, providing a practical and inviting outdoor living space. Constructed with precision, the decking boards have been laid with clean, even spacing to achieve a premium finish, while the natural colour variation of the Merbau adds warmth and character that will continue to deepen as the timber matures. Careful attention was given to every detail, including neatly working the decking around the existing tap and finishing the perimeter with a solid Merbau fascia that sits flush against the surrounding concrete and brickwork. The result is a simple yet beautifully crafted deck that enhances both the functionality and appearance of the home.
