This custom-built Merbau timber deck by our deck builder in Oakleigh East creates a seamless extension of the home's rear living area, providing a spacious and inviting outdoor entertaining space. Finished with a fresh coat of decking oil, the rich red-brown tones of the Merbau highlight the timber's natural beauty while enhancing its durability and long-term performance. Wide, full-width steps provide an elegant transition from the main deck to the backyard, creating a practical multi-level design with a premium finish. To complete the project, a custom-built timber screening wall was constructed to conceal the home's water tank, improving the overall appearance while maintaining easy access when required. The result is a functional, beautifully finished outdoor space that combines quality craftsmanship with thoughtful design.
